Some Thoughts...
Can you believe how fast this summer is speeding by? Here we are already at the half-way point. That means it is time for our nominating committee to get to work lining up personnel and committees for the coming church year. Please pray for this committee as they begin their work. We want to do more than “fill needed spots,” we want to link up people who desire to serve with the opportunity that fits their desire.
That brings to mind another need. Ron Lundin, our education coordinator, is looking for some
help. Ron puts out a weekly newsletter to Sunday School workers. He is looking for someone to
help him with layout and design. If you have abilities with Word, Publisher or other software
and an interest in layout/design please let him know! He would appreciate the help if it’s just a
one-time setup of a template or an ongoing project. He would love to have you as part of the
team.
I also want to announce that the Personnel Committee is ready to begin the process of hiring a
new office administrator/secretary. They have completed a job description and are ready to
begin interviewing applicants. We will begin within the church. If you are interested call the
church office and let us know. We will email you the job description and notify the Committee.
This will be a part-time position of 20-25 hours a week.
I look forward to seeing you as we gather for worship this coming Lord’s Day.
