On My Mind
I just want to touch base quickly this morning on a few “housekeeping” issues. First, Good News Club starts today at Robertson Elementary! Pray for our team as they start back loving and sharing the gospel with the kids at Robertson. Why not stop right now and pray for them? Set an alarm and pray for them at 3:00 this afternoon. They meet from 3:00-4:00 PM.
I also wanted to remind you that the church directories are in. If you’ve not picked yours up you can come by the church office and get one. Also, we are working to keep the directory current by adding new folks as they come. This is a digital copy. We’ve already added one family. If you would like a digital copy of the lasted just let Megan known in the church office. You can reach her by phone at 918-445-2416 or email her at Office@tbctulsa.org. Just let her know you would like the most recent directory. If you want you can tell her that you would like to be on the list to receive the updates and we will automatically send you one each time a change is made.
We will also be feeding the BCM at TCC West Campus on Wednesday of this week. This is our Baptist Student work on the campus and 85-100 kids and staff come through each week. We do this once a semester. Pray for Riley Sowell as he leads that ministry and pray as relationships are built and gospel conversations take place around lunch.
Don’t forget Norma Emmons is turning 90 and there is a reception for her at Town Village (8222 S. Yale Ave) apartment 179 on Sunday, September 24, from 2:00-4:00 PM. It is come and go. If you are not able to go by, please consider sending her a card.
Our new Sunday classes are off to a good start. Pray for all our teachers, especially our new teachers and their classes. We also have a number of children in our Kids in Action group on Wednesday evening and a number of kids in the youth group!
As always, pray for our gathering this coming Lord’s Day.
